Tyler Tamplin is the Creative Guru at The Vertical Solution. He brings a wealth of knowledge via the culmination of 20+ years of design experience in the fields of news, sports, advertising, finance and entrepreneurship.
He’s a seasoned veteran of both print and web design disciplines. He can also develop, with a strong skillset in such platforms as Wordpress, Hubspot and Shopify, as well as being proficient in such language as HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.
Tyler’s journey began in newspapers, where he designed illustrations and infographics for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and San Antonio Express-News. His work encompassed everything from international news to the Dallas Cowboys to NBA championships.
He then ventured into advertising, designing logos, websites and package concepts for Interlex in San Antonio. The agency won numerous Addy Awards during his tenure there.
After Interlex, Tyler helmed the marketing visual design wing for American Beacon Advisors in Irving, designing print ads, websites and email campaigns to market the firm’s more than $20 billion in mutual fund assets.
His path to entrepreneurship began when he founded t2-visual, a dedicated graphics and web design service in Denton, as well as co-founding Buffalo 5, a website and app-building platform.
While not grinding away at complex designs on steep deadline, Tyler’s a huge history nerd, loves to travel (five continents down, two to go) and cherishes time with family and friends.
